Kornerstone Materials Technology Co., Ltd. Was established on August 4, 2011 and located in Mawei District, Fuzhou, China. KMTC is a Sino-foreign joint venture enterprise between Goldmax Asia Pacific Ltd, Hong Kong and CPT Technology Group Ltd in Fuzhou with the initial registered capital of $75 million US Dollars, which will soon grow to over $300 million on Phase 2.
KMTC has assembled a multinational management and technical team from China, Taiwan, USA, Japan and Korea, with decades of experience in display technology, touch component products and high technology materials. Our vision is to become a leading material science company. As an encouraged foreign investment project by national "12th five-year plan", the initial product line for KMTC was TechStone, a high technology Alumino-Silicate cover glass for the growing touch display industry. Today we are excited to announce TechStone, our second generation glass composition with substantially improved performance in strength after ion-exchange for improved customer performance. More recently, KMTC has launched a new line of KlearSmart-3D cover lens and protective cover lens products for screen protection of smartphones.
Our Phase 1 glass manufacturing operation began mass production in 2014. The KMTC Phase 2 expansion project is underway to provide significant increase in capacity and sales to our customers by creating additional glass production lines, while also expanding our 3D forming and finishing operations for cover lens and screen protection products.
